Taulu kesästä is a collaborative painting project between myself and my grandmother Terttu Kivikankare. The painting depicts a scene from the summer of 2005 when we painted together for the first time.

The paintings portray abstract sunsets, where the colour combinations, impasto strokes and organic textures emulate the feelings one experiences when watching a sunset.
